Dr. Artashes Karapetyan



Artashes brings deep knowledge and expertise in banking and real estate finance to the growing team of advisors. He is enthusiastic about the PrepayWay platform and is excited to be involved in the development cycle early on.

Artashes currently works as an Assistant Professor of Finance at BI Norwegian Business School (Norway). He has worked as an advisor and research economist for Financial Stability and Monetary Policy Departments at the Central Bank of Norway in 2010 - 2015. His specialization and research interests encompass real estate finance and financial intermediation. Artashes earned his PhD in Finance at the University of Zurich in 2010. Prior to that, he graduated from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, with MSc in Finance in 2006.

In October 2017, Artashes was awarded with the National Research Council of Norway grant for his research project titled Frictions in the Housing Market.
